1. Does it cost anything to register and how do i register?

It does not cost a penny for students to register or
use this site. To register yourself you need to go to the
registration page.
|
2. Why do i need to sign in to view the house details? (Top)
|
|
You must sign in to view propery details so that you can benefit from these
feature:

Store your favourite properties in your
'my homes'
page
-
Send questions / arrange viewings via the email page without having to enter
your name or email address. They are automatically sent to the landlord.

Get the landlords contact phone numbers if you prefer to speak to someone to
arrange viewings or ask some questions.

Landlord FAQ

It is free to register with homesforstudent and you
can register
here

When you have registered as a landlord you will get access to the
landlord management area where you can manage every aspect of your
properties including:
-
Adding as many properties as you like to the system. You can give full
descriptions, location, ammenities, up to 3 photos, provide room details etc.

Create a profile for yourself so that you will be listed under whatever towns
you specify just like advertising in a phone book. You can tell students
a little about yourself and the ways you can be contacted.

View statistics for each of your properties that will tell you how many times
your property has been viewed, how many times your contact numbers have been
requested and the number of email enquiries you have received.

You can activate and deactivate you properties as and when they becomes
available to let / unavailable to let.

3. I have registered but where do i add my property details? (Top)

To add your properties to our system you will need to
log in to the landlord admin suite by clicking on the red admin link at the top
right of this page or by
clicking here. You can then use the link in the menu on the left
where it says
'add home' to start uploading your properties details.

4. Im trying to upload my images but it is taking ages - is this normal? (Top
)
|
If the images you are uploading are high quality from
a digital camera they are likely to be big files. Depending on the speed
of your internet connection it can take several minutes to upload your images.
