From being students ourselves, we remember how difficult and time consuming it is to find good quality student accommodation.

The whole process of finding letting agents and landlords, deciding which houses to view and then actually viewing the properties would literally take days out of precious study time!?!

Furthermore, most of the viewings were booked knowing nothing about the accommodation other than how many rooms it had. Needless to say, most viewings turned out to be a complete waste of time.

As a result, we decided to set up www.HomesForStudents.co.uk with the aim of creating a student accommodation search engine that gives students as much information as possible about prospective student accommodation in as little time possible.

We provide a service for both students and landlords enabling them to come together in one common place – www.HomesForStudents.co.uk.

Landlords advertise their student housing on our site to give students much more detailed information than they would usually get from a housing list. A typical advert would show a student:

• Where the student property is, including a location map
• A full textual description of the property
• Full room details including rent, size, bed size, etc
• Photographs so that the property can be seen online  
• Full contact details, putting the student in touch with the landlord.
