Students to pay £48,500 for three years’ study
21/04/11-From 2012 the average student will have to find £48,503 over the course of a three-year degree, according to the latest research from student accommodation website, HomesforStudents.co.uk. This is an increase of 55% from the cost for the average undergraduate (£31,373) today over their university career.

15/04/11- Jonathan Moore, director of www.homesforstudents.co.uk the student accommodation website, comments: "Tenants are being squeezed in a vice-like grip by rising rents across the private rental sector, but the situation is even more acute for students. Since the start of this academic year alone, the average rent a student living in non-uni accommodation faces has risen by 4.8%."
