The random use of a Blur lyric in my opening gambit isn’t as irrelevant as it may seem. The flat is on a leafy street just over the road to a park. Sure it’s a loose connection, but irrelevant it is not.

Picture yourself arising from a solid slumber, donning your summer wear and Birkenstocks, grabbing a croissant and a latte and meandering to the park with the morning newspaper folded neatly under your arm.

Sound like the morning that only dreams are made of? Think again chum – this could be you.

After arising from the previously mentioned slumber in your (great sized and soon to be - or may actually be by the time you read this – double glazed) bedroom, you have a quick (new, electric) shower. After checking that the dishwasher has performed it’s designated duty, you cross the (stripped wooden) floor and leave the flat via the (very nice) lounge.

Please note that I am not good at regular estate agent descriptions (and here is a kitchen and here is a bathroom and here is a lounge and you will like this house because….) so genuinely, the best thing to do would be to come and have a look. If you like it and want to talk money and paperwork then we can go back to the office or - if you fancy - the pub.

Whilst you may have heard horror stories about letting agents, we are nice and not nasty like the one’s you’ll have heard about. Honest Guv. In fact, if you go then you will see that we are actually idiots. On second thoughts, maybe don’t…..
